What is the Best Treatment for Rosacea?

There are two highly effective treatments for rosacea currently available from The Vascular Experts Florida: BBL™ BroadBand Light and ClearV™. Both these proprietary cosmetic procedures address the underlying vascular problems believed to be the source of the characteristic redness seen in people with the condition. Therapies stimulate cells to renew, reducing the appearance of visible lesions, leaving you looking younger and less red.

Rosacea Symptoms

Rosacea is a condition that causes the skin to turn visibly red, predominantly on the face. Patients exhibit patches of inflamed skin and visible blood vessels on the cheeks, nose, and chin area. In some cases, the condition can also lead to small, red, pus-filled bumps.

Flare-ups may be chronic – meaning that they persist through time – or they can be acute, lasting anywhere from a couple of days to two weeks.

Rosacea can affect anyone, but it is most common in middle-aged women with light skin tone. There is no cure for rosacea, but cosmetic interventions can help reduce the severity of symptoms and improve patients’ appearance.

Treatments for Rosacea

Rosaceae treatments focus primarily on correcting the vascular abnormalities that researchers believe cause facial redness. When you come to our clinic, Dr. Lina Vargas and the rest of the team at The Vascular Experts Florida will advise you on the best course of treatment for your particular situation, following a careful evaluation of your symptoms.

We offer the following treatments:

Am I a Candidate for Rosacea Treatment?

Port-wine stains, cherry angiomas, and spider veins are all species of vascular lesions that can become visible on the face with time. Here at The Vascular Experts Florida, Dr. Lina Vargas and the team can help you reduce the appearance of yours, restoring a youthful glow and improving your confidence. We can remove these lesions quickly, with minimal (if any) downtime following the procedure.

A good candidate for rosacea treatment is anyone who has facial redness and wishes to address the source of the condition. If you notice spider veins or any other type of vascular lesion, you should speak with Dr. Vargas about possible treatment options.
